PHASE 1: EXPLORATORY CONVERSATION
Every adventure starts with dialogue. Connect with our Church Planting Director for a relaxed conversation about your emerging sense of call, your ministry vision, and any questions you're carrying. We'll delve into your background, your community context, and whether our Covenant approach resonates with what God is stirring in your spirit. No commitments, no pressure, just authentic dialogue between kingdom-minded people.
When our preliminary discussions indicate mutual alignment, you and your spouse (if applicable) will be invited to participate in our Covenant Church Planter Evaluation Experience. This immersive four-day journey focuses on discovery rather than examination.
Through personality evaluations, in-depth interviews, collaborative exercises, and spiritual reflection, you'll gain invaluable insight into your calling, timing, strengths, and preparedness. Our experienced evaluators bring decades of planting wisdom and spiritual discernment to this process. You'll conclude with detailed feedback and clear direction for your next steps.

PHASE 2: COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION

Those who receive planting recommendations join our comprehensive preparation program, offered several times annually. You'll master our proven four-phase launch approach alongside fellow planters facing similar challenges. This goes beyond theoretical knowledge, it's hands-on, battle-tested wisdom shared by practitioners who've walked your future path. Throughout the training phase, you will be engaged in developing a Well-Conceived Plan for your church plant. This plan will serve as a comprehensive proposal, functioning as both a blueprint and a roadmap to guide every step of your church planting journey. Ensuring that your vision, goals, strategies, and logistical details are clearly articulated helping to set a firm foundation for your church’s growth and impact.
Following the successful completion of the training, we will work together to develop a detailed and formal partnership agreement among the Conference, Covenant, and Church plant. This agreement clarifies our mutual responsibilities and expectations, your strategic approach, financial arrangements, and support framework for your inaugural year and beyond.
PHASE 4: PARTNERSHIP FORMALIZATION
PHASE 5: CONFIDENT LAUNCH
Following the completion of the detailed project plan and signing of the partnership agreement, work on site preparation will begin, launching your church with assurance. Our network of seasoned planters, partner congregations, and conference leadership will be celebrating your launch and are ready to offer guidance on outreach strategies, leadership development, and troubleshooting challenges as they arise.
Launch day marks the beginning, not the destination. Every planter receives continued coaching and mentoring from experienced leaders who offer encouragement, skill enhancement, and accountability through every season. You'll maintain connection with your planting cohort and the broader Covenant family invested in your long-term flourishing.
